On March 8, 2008 I made a historic decision in my life to run for the open Mobile County School Board Commissioner seat in 2008. I decided to make this decision base upon my love for the community for which I live, being a parent and the children of this county.

I didn't enter this race for popularity or the prestige moment of fame. But I entered this race to be the next School Board Commissioner for District 3; Because I feel deep within that change must take place on our local school board. I am willing to roll up my sleeves to work hard for our children of District 3 and Mobile County, Alabama. It's my heart desire to see every child in District 3 and Mobile County recieve a high school diploma, fair and equal education.

In Mobile County our public school system has 65,000 plus students, I believe each child should be treated equal regardless of their race, religion, sex and etc. I want to be the voice for District 3 that will sound the alarm on wasteful spending and micromanagement by board members.

I will take accountability, equal opportunity, fairness, strong representation and a real voice for all children in Mobile County and District 3 to the Mobile County School Board. "It's all about our children!"
